Those first few weeks with your baby pass in a blur, and all those tiny details change before you know it. Your newborn session is designed to preserve them while giving you a relaxed, comfortable experience during those early days.
My studio is fully stocked with wraps, outfits, headbands, props and everything we need for your session. I’ll take care of the details and safely guide your baby through each setup while you sit back and relax.
Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first two weeks after birth. Because I accept a limited number of newborns each month, I recommend reserving your session during your second trimester.

A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your due date and is applied toward the package of your choice. Newborn packages begin at $275.
After your session, you’ll receive a proof gallery to select your favorite images. Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll complete the final edits and deliver your finished images in a downloadable online gallery.

Your baby will change more in the first year than you can imagine. The First Year Plan makes it easy to preserve each stage—from those tiny newborn details to sitting, smiling and celebrating that very first birthday.
The plan includes your Deluxe Newborn Session, 6-Month Milestone Session and 1-Year Cake Smash Session while saving $200 when you book them together.

When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend reserving your newborn session during your second trimester. I accept a limited number of newborn due dates each month so I can remain flexible when babies arrive earlier or later than expected. If your baby is already here, don't hesitate to reach out... last-minute openings are sometimes available.
When is the best time to photograph newborns?
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within the first two weeks after birth. During this time, babies tend to be sleepier and naturally curl into those sweet newborn poses. Once your baby arrives, just let me know and we'll choose your session date.
How do I book without knowing my session date?
You don't need to know your baby's birthday to book! I'll reserve space on my calendar around your due date. Once your baby arrives, you'll contact me and we'll choose the actual session date within those first couple of weeks.
Do I need to bring my own props or outfits?
Nope! My studio is fully stocked with wraps, outfits, headbands, bonnets, props and backdrops, so you don't need to shop for anything special. If you have a meaningful family heirloom or sentimental item you'd like incorporated, let me know before your session and I'll be happy to plan for it.
How long do newborn sessions take?
Essentials and Deluxe sessions typically last 2–3 hours, while Wrapped Mini sessions can take up to 2 hours. Newborn sessions are intentionally unhurried so there's plenty of time for feeding, soothing and snuggling whenever your baby needs it. We follow baby's lead rather than rushing through the session.
What is turnaround time on images?
Proof galleries are typically delivered within one week of your session. Once you’ve selected your favorite images, I’ll complete the final edits and deliver your finished gallery within one week.
What can I do to ensure my newborn sleeps?
I'll send you a detailed prep guide before your session with tips to help baby arrive sleepy and ready for photos. But don't worry if your baby has other plans! We'll take our time with feeding, soothing and breaks as needed and follow your baby's cues throughout the session.
How do you keep my baby safe during the session?
Your baby’s safety and comfort always come first. I have years of experience photographing newborns and have trained specifically in newborn posing and safety. I’ll carefully support and pose your baby while watching their cues throughout the session, and we’ll always take breaks for feeding, soothing or snuggles whenever needed.
