Those first few weeks with your newborn are fleeting, filled with tiny details you'll want to cherish forever. I understand how precious these moments are, and I'm passionate about capturing the beauty of your little one. From adorable outfits and headbands to cozy wraps and props, I provide everything needed for a beautiful newborn session. To capture those sleepy, squishy poses, sessions are scheduled within the first two weeks of birth. I provide a comprehensive prep guide to help you prepare for a successful session. Because I limit the number of sessions I take each month, it's best to contact me during your second trimester to secure your spot. The sooner the better! I only schedule a handful of newborn due date each month. I recommend booking your newborn package around the end of your second trimester to the beginning of your third. It's never too late or too early! I sometimes have last minute openings so don't hesitate to reach out but to be sure your spot on my calendar, I recommend booking at least 1 month in advance.
I always suggest having your newborn session within the first two weeks of being born. This ensures your baby will still be in the sleepy, squishy stage which makes it possible to get those sweet newborn poses. Be sure and contact me as soon as baby is born to get your session date and time scheduled.
I will reserve your due date, and after your baby arrives we’ll schedule the session to ensure we capture those early, precious days. Due to the nature of arrivals, I take a limited number of newborn clients each month.
I provide everything needed! I have all the props, wraps, and backdrops for your newborn session! If you have any family heirlooms or props that are sentimental you would like to use, please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.
This varies on your package, and how the baby cooperates. The Deluxe and Essentials package can take 3 hours and the wrapped mini up to 2 hours.
I typically try to deliver proof galleries within one week of shooting. Once you make your final selections I will make final edits and deliver the final gallery within 1-2 weeks.
Our main goal is to have a sleepy baby. The week of your session I will email you a prep guide with tips to better our odds of a sleepy baby.
While I offer digital-only collections, I firmly believe in the transformative power of print. That is why I highly recommend purchasing prints and products from my professional lab. You can do this directly from your online gallery. There's a profound difference between viewing images on a screen and holding them in your hands. Printed artwork—whether an album or a stunning metal print—makes your memories tangible, tactile, and timeless. It adds a depth of emotion and significance that digital files simply can't replicate, transforming your photos into cherished heirlooms for generations to come. I want you to get the best quality for the investment you made on having photos taken by a professional.
Purchasing prints directly from a photographer often guarantees high-quality paper, color accuracy, and careful image processing, ensuring the best possible presentation of your photos.
Printed photos provide a physical representation of special moments that you can touch and interact with, enhancing the emotional connection to the memory. Unlike digital files which can be lost due to technology issues, printed photos offer a long-lasting way to preserve your memories.
Prints can be framed and displayed around your home to personalize your space and showcase your favorite moments.
